About Me

My name is Persephine [per-sef-uh-nee], also called Persie, Sephie, Zephine... I just have a lot of names I love.

Born and raised in North Philadelphia, I grew up always being creative in a way; whether it was from coming up with novel long stories (about 80,000+ words if you were wondering) for my barbie dolls, to being able to book my lovely artist friends at events, tours, show and then eventually host and help set up music shows of my own. I classify myself as a Jack of All Trades. I believe everyone can do it all if they try, doesn't matter if you do it well, life's too short to worry so much about that.

But why did I make this website? Other than teachers hounding me about having an online portfolio since the 7th grade, I need a place to just dump. Journal, post old and new art, get discovered, make connections and have fun. I've been beating myself up about a website design for a while and how professional it should come off, then realized I should showcase the real me. Huzzah!
